Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton didn’t give us a Met Gala couples debut, but the duo have remained in New York, heading out to see The Fear of 13 on Broadway—Kim’s first producing project. It’s a particularly special moment for Kardashian, bringing a piece of theater to life that highlights criminal justice reform, one of her greatest passions.
The couple haven’t found a coordinating style rhythm just yet, dressing very differently for their night at the theater. Kim, for one, opted for a custom take on the Jean Paul Gaultier spring 2022 couture collection, wearing jeans for the first time in a long time. (Of course, it’s denim in the most Kim Kardashian way possible: skin-tight, body-contouring.) What may have broken Kim’s jeans hiatus? Well, sister Kylie Jenner is launching a KHY denim line (and has been wearing a suite of low-rise blue and white numbers to sit courtside at the New York Knicks games), and jeans did make a quite divisive appearance at the 2026 Met Gala.
Kardashian’s look consisted of an icy blue, long-sleeve JPG corset with braided details (the original runway look was champagne-toned), and on the bottom, light-blue loose jeans with an asymmetric waist. She paired the ensemble with barely there blue sandals, and wore her hair in a slick up-do. The rest of her glam stuck to her signature formula: a poreless complexion with high-octane blush, spiky lashes, and a creamy nude lip.
Hamilton, holding her hand, chose something a bit more comfy for their night on Broadway. The racing driver wore a taupe track jacket and matching bottoms with brown lace-up dress shoes.
It’s the second time Kardashian has come out to support The Fear of 13, which she on the weekend prior to the Met Gala, and was joined by her mother Kris Jenner, sister Kylie, and her partner Timotheé Chalamet. While one might opt for something more louche and relaxed to sit for a few hours in a theater seat, Kardashian stayed true to her skin-tight, high-drama personal style, wearing a Christian Dior spring 1997 silk cheongsam in a pale yellow jacquard. She accessorized with a teeny-tiny and ultra-rare silver Hermès Sac Bijou Birkin. Last night’s look was Kim’s take on the more casual, low-key…for sure.
