Billie Eilish isn’t interested in future plastic surgery—and she has a very meaningful reason why.
The musician, who is gearing up for the release of her tour film Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour Live in 3D on May 8, stopped by Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang, where the two discussed a variety of topics: why she’s not afraid to be cringe, her now-legendary love of The Office, and why her future kids factor into her decision not to change the way she looks.
Given that Eilish has been famous since her early teens—she was just 13 when “Ocean Eyes” went viral and kickstarted her career—she’s thought a lot about what the next chapter of her life entails, and her perspective on aging has changed too. (She’s 24 now.) “I never thought I would not be a teenager,” she told Poehler. “I remember when I was 17, I was like, ‘Okay, I am the person I’ll be forever right now.’ And that’s not how it works, obviously.”
Though Eilish didn’t call out any specific surgeries or treatments, she made it pretty clear that she isn’t all that interested in future procedures—because she wants her future children to see themselves reflected in her face someday. “I am so excited to age, and I’m so excited for my face to age and my body to age and not change it, you know?” she shared during the conversation. “And I want my kids to look at me and have my face look like their face and not be some botched version of whatever the f**k is going on out there right now.”
Celebrities have been increasingly open about their prospective plastic surgeries and cosmetic treatments. A few months ago, Jennifer Garner told Kylie Kelce on her podcast Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce that while she wasn’t a fan of forehead Botox—she said it made her forehead feel too frozen—she hasn’t ruled out a future facelift. “My kids are like, ‘Mom, promise us you’ll never get a facelift.’ And I say, ‘I am unlikely to rush toward a facelift,’” Garner shared at the time. “And yet, I refuse to make that promise, because I am me today, and I don’t know how I’m gonna feel.” Jennifer Lawrence, who is never afraid to say what she’s thinking, told The New Yorker that she wanted both a facelift (at some point) and “a boob job” after having her two children. Meghan Trainor was also very excited about her postpartum breast plans and got a lift and augmentation in early 2025.
