Nostalgia—with a twist—seemed to be the theme of the night at Fendi’s party to celebrate the reissue of the iconic Baguette handbag on Tuesday in Manhattan. Attendee Olivia Wilde took note.
The actor and director worked with go-to hairstylist Barb Thompson to bring back one of the most recognizable boho hairstyles of the 2010s: milkmaid braids. Her take on the updo was light and flowy, with long pieces of her golden-blonde hair framing her face. The glam, meanwhile, was much more modern with monochromatic pink on the eyes, lips, and cheeks, and just a touch of highlighter. And, of course, she had to accessorize her Grecian-style dress with the star of the night: a gold, beaded Fendi Baguette.
As nostalgia and beauty continue to intersect—hello, blue eyeshadow and ’90s supermodel glam—we’re sure to see plenty more exciting looks this summer.
