What’s better than wearing something fresh off the runway? Wearing something before it hits the runway.
Last night, Sabrina Carpenter joined a high-octane front row (including Miley Cyrus, Mikey Madison … and even Al Pacino) for Dior’s cruise 2027 show at LACMA. The pop star flexed her fashion muscles when her dress preempted the brand’s own runway: Carpenter wore the opening look from the show, a pastel yellow midi dress. The drop waist was lined with fluffy yellow-and-white flowers, which fanned out into a dynamic, multi-hued skirt. Cue Spider-Man pointing meme.
While the dress lived both on the runway and in the front row, Carpenter opted for a very … let’s say different styling choice. She emphasized the dress’s sheerness, letting her white lace lingerie show beneath butter yellow pleats. Carpenter played up the white lace even further by adding a prim hair bow in the same material.
As for her accessories, the singer stayed in the buttery color palette. Although the model walked the runway in a pair of tweed peep-toes, Carpenter preferred yellow satin mules, which matched her ladylike purse. Take it from Sabrina Carpenter, there are plenty of ways to stand out—even when someone else is wearing the same dress as you.
