Ice cream lovers, this is your time! To mark the release of our Summer issue—celebrating America’s 250th birthday and starring Gracie Abrams—Vogue is launching a signature ice cream flavor at Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream on June 23.
Fittingly named “Vogue à la Mode,” it’s a mint ice cream flavored with spearmint and Vietnamese mint and studded with chocolate-covered espresso honeycomb. “Call it the ultimate haute summer pick-me-up!” says Chloe Malle, Vogue US’s head of editorial content.
Vogue subscribers are invited to enjoy free scoops (while supplies last) at the Morgenstern’s shop at 2 Rivington Street, on New York’s Lower East Side, from 5 to 6 p.m. on June 23. To redeem your scoop, you must be an active subscriber and have the Vogue app downloaded to your phone. After that, the ice cream will be available to purchase until July 7.
The ice cream pairs perfectly with some summer reading, whether it’s Brittany Spanos’s cover story, Nathan Heller and Annie Leibowitz’s first look at the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, or Tamar Adler’s search for the perfect potato.
